Archery for blind and partially sighted people

Since we officially started archery sessions at Southfields Community College sports hall in Wandsworth in May 2013, these have grown  in popularity and we always welcome anyone who is keen to have a go.

Regular sessions usually take place on the second Sunday of the month from 12 noon to 2pm.  Please check the next two sessions below or the Archery Events page to confirm as these dates can change occasionally.

Venue: South Fields College (Aspire Centre, Wandsworth)
Bus route: 156 towards Wimbledon.

We are fortunate to have three professional instructors to give one-to-one coaching.   All equipment is provided along with a tactile aiming guide and foot locater so that totally blind shooters can take meaningful part in the sport.

Archery and Shooting Resource from British Blind Sport!

This resource focuses on the target sports of Archery and Shooting and is a joint product between British Blind Sport and Agincourt 600 with contributions from Archery GB and British Shooting. Kindly funded by Agincourt 600, this resource has been designed to educate the coaching and club network to ensure a greater knowledge of VI Archery and VI Shooting and help enhance the opportunities for more VI people to take part in there exhilarating sports.
