We have a fantastic workshop opportunity to share with you/your children. Girls and boys, children and teens are encouraged to apply.
- Do you want to help Microsoft Research engineers make Minecraft accessible?
- Can you help them imagine a character you’d take on a Minecraft treasure hunt?
- Or, are you an expert VI gamer that knows what a game should feel like?
Join Microsoft Research for a series of design activities in which you will work with craft materials, electronics, and code to image a guide creature to help accompany other VI kids through Minecraft.
The workshops will take place at Microsoft’s offices in Cambridge (21 Station Rd, Cambridge CB1 2FB). The day is free but participants are responsible for their own travel plans and costs.
The two dates are Friday 22nd July and Thursday 25th August and they are looking for participants from a range of ages from 7 to 18 years.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
Just your imagination!
