The Science Museum is holding a VIscovery Day on Saturday 9th June 2018. VIscovery days include a series of events for families with members who are visually impaired, partially sighted or blind. All events are free and suitable for children aged 5 and over.
The Science Museum has recently hosted a festival to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, which raised many interesting questions, such as: ‘Should we create life?’, ‘How far can new technologies go?’, ‘What new stories can we create?’.
Join the Science Museum on 9th June to explore new ideas, innovative stories and cutting-edge technologies. On the day, you’ll be able to: talk to experts, create the sound effects for your very own story, meet Mary Shelley herself, and much more!
Events will be individually bookable so that families get the most personal interactive experience possible so make sure you sign up when further information is sent out.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email myself at Federica.Marzari@ScienceMuseum.ac.uk or the Family Programmes Team at firstname.lastname@example.org; or call on 02079424086.
