VIBE National outdoor triples. 23-25 August 2022.
Seven Metro bowlers took themselves down to Worthing for the 2022 VIBE national triples. As ever, they were ready to battle hard against some tough opposition. Mariza Jurgens, Sue Henning and Wilbert Williams played in one team.
The other Metro triple was made up of Maureen Ryan, Marjorie Convey and David Mears. Sadly, both teams were battling against the odds, and neither made the best of starts. Although to be fair, Maureen’s team only lost their first game by one shot.
Poor fortune continued into the second game for both triples. However, Metro came roaring back in their last two games, winning both very comfortably. One of these being against the other Metro team. They actually finished with a better shot count than any other team, but no cigar.
Junnette Taylor; also, a Metro member, unfortunately, could not play with Metro due to numbers. She played for another team, and her team came runner-up. Well done to them
