RP Fighting Blindness (RPFB) Information Day

RP Fighting Blindness would like to invite you to an Information Day focusing on Inherited Retinal Dystrophies (IRDs) and syndromes, including retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and Usher syndrome.
We have a programme of Information Days planned during 2017, to be held in various regions of the UK. We are proud to hold our final major event of the year at Mary Ward House Conference & Exhibition Centre in London.
The event will include presentations on a number of research subjects including a session ‘Translating Science to Medicine’ Dr Mariya Moosajee, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Senior Clinical Lecturer, Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL. There will also be a chance to hear patient stories and meet with local sight loss charities and find out what they are offering as well as learning more about the work of RP Fighting Blindness.
This is a great opportunity to find out more about Inherited Retinal Dystrophies (IRDs); the research, to put your questions to the experts, meet other people and engage with the charity.
This event is free of charge and is open to:
- Anyone affected by a retinal dystrophy
- Family and friends
- Professionals working with affected families
- Anyone interested learning more about this important group of eye conditions
