The RNIB’s Online Today Programme

is aiming to get as many vision impaired people as possible, confident using accessible technology and Davinder from Online Today and Graham Page from East London Vision will be coming along to help people get started. This session is open for complete beginners, as well as those who already are active users of several devices. Please feel free to bring along any portable devices that you require assistance with, such as Mobile Phone, recording devices, tablets, magnifiers etc.

Come along to see a demonstration and play VI friendly New Age Kurling

by Roy Smith from Metro Blind Sport.

Kurling is a form of the original curling game, but adapted so that it can be played indoors on any smooth, flat surface, such as a sports hall, rather than on ice. Both beginners and also those who are looking to compete will find this interesting.

So come along to an informative, friendly and relaxed environment where you can meet others, learn a new skill or a hobby and also have the opportunity to be part of the Steering Group, where you can contribute your views of the running of this group and help move it forward.  Please get in touch for more information.

Where: Navarino Mansions Community Hall, Dalston Lane, Hackney, London, E8 1LB

Meeting point: Hackney Downs station. Bus 30 and 56 also stop there (Stop N).

Costs: Free, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
