**WE ARE THERE!!*** So excited to announce the dates and venues for our next round of CAMPS bought to you in partnership with our good friends at the LTA.

These camps are for players who already play and want to develop their skills further. The timing of these camps, just a few weeks before National’s mean that players have the chance to learn some new techniques and tactics just in time for the National Tournaments if they wish.

The camps will be fun and social and provide a more in-depth coaching experience.

Vision Impaired Ski Lesson

These Beginner Ski Lesson & Sledging sessions on  Sunday 2 July 2017 are for Vision Impaired participants – expert tuition by qualified instructors from Snozone

Hurry and reserve your place, there are 7 places left available for beginners to ski & 10 left places for sledging

Equipment

  • Ski / Snowboard Activities – Skis, poles, boards, boots & helmets are FREE to hire
  • Sledging / Family Activities – Sledges and helmets are FREE to hire

Clothing

You need to wrap up warm on the slope – it’s minus 5 degrees out there and gloves are a must!

For hygiene reasons, we do not hire out gloves or socks. You must wear both whilst on the slope. Please see our great range in our shops.

Don’t worry if you don’t have the appropriate clothing you can hire a jacket and salopettes by either pre-booking or hiring on the day @ £9.99pp. Gloves can be purchased from £19.95 and warm socks from £12,99  All of your ski or snowboard equipment (boots, helmet, skis, board and poles) are included in the ticket price.

There is no difference in price if you bring your own equipment.

Snow based activities for people living with sight loss in East London.

Organisers: Snozone, East London Vision and Metro Blind Sport.  

When: Sat 28th Jan 2017, 9.20am – 5.30pm.

Group Skiing and Sledging sessions 12.00 – 1.00pm and 2.00 – 3.00pm

Where: Xscape MK, 602 Marlborough Gate, Milton Keynes, Bucks, MK9 3XSGreen Lanes, London N4 2HA

Meeting point: Euston Station – (By the internal escalators, opposite Info point and main departures board) – Time: 9.20am

Cost: £10.00 per person – this includes all Equipment and Ski Clothing Hire plus travel to and from MK station. *Please note all participants will need to purchase their own train tickets between Euston and MK

20 spaces will be available on a first come first serve basis, to try both skiing and sledging at this amazing indoor facility only 35mins from Euston station! Please note priority will be given to those resident in the seven boroughs covered by East London Vision.

The Afternoon will consist of small group skiing and sledging experiences, suitable for all ages 8+. This activity is appropriate for beginners and those who haven’t skied before. All sessions will be run by experienced ski instructors and supported by volunteers.

IMPORTANT: You will need to wear, warm walking boots or welly’s, thermals or additional under-layers, gloves and a woolly hat for sledging and possibly bring a change of clothes for the train journey back. Clothing hire will include Ski Jacket, Ski Trousers and Helmets.
