RNIB: Skincare & Make Up

RNIB Connect Skincare and Make Up Friday 27 March

Kindly supported by make-up artists and trainers from Gerrard International, a leading brand in the UK, we will cover skincare; including cleansing, toning, moisturising and makeup application.

The focus is on the best type of makeup to use if you have sight loss and how to care for your skin.

There is a wide range of make-up colours suitable for all skin tones including Mii makeup and Jessica’s nails.  All are cruelty-free.

We have 2 sessions, one starting at 10.30 am and one at 2.00 pm. A discount code will be made available on the day for any future purchases you wish to make.

RNIB Young Leader Volunteer Magdalena will also be demonstrating how she applies her eye make-up and tips she has for general make-up application.

Professional Artists from the industry will be delivering a workshop to give helpful and easy tips on:

  • Recommendation on styles & colours for different looks
  • Advice on skincare routines & products
  • Information on a range of Herbal and Organic products
  • Suggestions on Hair Styles which best suit you and are easy to create and maintain

If you or someone you know are dealing with sight loss and are struggling with any of the above, or just intrigued on how to best help your teenager to get started on looking after their skin, then why not come along.

You will also have the opportunity to receive a makeover by the Professional Artist’s, whether it is hair, make-up or both. So why not treat yourself, a special someone or your mum ahead of Mothers Day.

Lunch & Refreshments will be provided.

Men’s Zone

Ladies, while you are getting pampered, we will also take care of the men. You can leave them with us and we will take them down to the local pub.

Open to those with a vision impairment or those wonderful carers who support someone with sight loss.
