Helene Schjerfbeck

Date: Friday 2 August  Time: 9–11am
Join us for this early morning audio described tour to discover the paintings of Helene Schjerfbeck (1862–1946), one of Finland’s best kept secrets. Including over 60 portraits, landscapes and still-lifes, this survey show traces the evolution of her career from her early naturalistic style to her self-portraits.
Following the tour we’ll explore a range of handling materials that will allow a deeper insight into the developments and context for the shifts in style throughout her career.

Tickets are free but booking is required.
