Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46  – 46 miles of traffic-free cycling heaven!

The ballot for this year’s Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 is now open!

Ballot Close Date:  Friday 13 April
Event Date:   Sunday 29 July

The ballot will close at 17:00 on Friday 13 April or when 18,000 entries have been received, whichever is earlier.

The 2018 edition of the sportive will take place on Sunday 29 July and will offer cyclists the chance to ride 46 miles on closed roads in London and Surrey on the second day of the Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling.

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 offers a perfect, traffic-free ride for a range of cyclists, from young people aged 16+ to riders who are new to mass-participation cycling events.

On the day of the sportive, around 5,000 riders will cycle from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park past Canary Wharf and through the City of London, then out of the capital and into Surrey before returning for an iconic finish on The Mall in the shadow of Buckingham Palace.

International cyclists interested in taking part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 can enter the ballot via our overseas entry page.

If you change your address after applying in the ballot, please email with your name, date of birth, telephone number, old address and your new address.

Your address details will then be changed in our system and a confirmation will be emailed to you when this has been done.

Please do not call the helpdesk with changes of address as these can only be processed by email.

Tandem, tricycle and recumbent entries

For tandems, only one rider needs to have been successful in the ballot. Entrants with a disability will be charged £39. Entrants where neither rider has a disability will be charged for both riders at a total cost of £78.

If a rider has a disability and needs to ride a tandem bike with a guide, the guide rider will not be required to pay a fee.
