More blue sky than on any other day of the Metro season this year saw a game where Alan Turnbull was able to secure a 50 with a second superb batting performance of the season. This display came from a player who is seen to be more of a bowler than an all-rounder. His 15 at Hampshire at the start of the season had saved that game, sadly his 50 this week along with a second 50 of the season from skipper “DS”, was enough only to secure a winning draw against the visitors from Dorset.Continue Reading
