MyEyeSite Patient Day: HealthTech and Your Eyecare
Saturday 30 November 2019, London
We invite patients and people working in the field of rare eye disease to this special, free event. Have your say in improving eye care, meet health tech companies and the MyEyeSite team, preview the MyEyeSite app, and network with others.
MyEyeSite is a collaboration between Moorfields Eye Hospital as NHS partner, Loft Digital as a technical partner, and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology as an academic partner. Our initial feasibility study and prototype work is funded by Health Data Research UK.
The first MyEyeSite patient day, in June 2019, was instrumental in influencing the direction of the project. We hope that the feedback, insight and connections made at this next event will help us to shape further the future of this exciting project.

In a smaller afternoon workshop, people affected by eye problems (especially retinal disease) will have an opportunity to participate in a more “in-depth” focus group discussion around these topics, with a focus on technology engagement and app development, including a preview of how the MyEyeSite app might look on your Smartphone or computer.

Empowering patients with their eye data
We believe that enabling people with rare eye disease to collect, manage and share their own health data, will lead to better health outcomes, more efficient health services, and accelerated scientific research and clinical trials of potential therapies.
