Goalball UK Update national League events Postponed until after April 14

Goalball UK postpone all National League events until Tuesday 14 April

Goalball UK has today taken the decision to postpone all of its National League events until Tuesday 14 April due to COVID-19, subject to medical advice and conditions at that time.

Mark Winder, Goalball UK’s CEO: “For a number of weeks now we have been working closely with parties involved with our tournaments and we have decided to postpone all of our events until 14 April.

“This is an unprecedented situation, but we have unanimously agreed that the health and welfare of the Goalball UK family is our top priority and this is the correct action to take at this time.

“We will continue to monitor this fast-moving situation closely and will provide further updates as soon as this is possible. We want to reassure everyone that we aim to reschedule these events when it is safe to do so.

“Finally, we want to thank everyone for their continued understanding and cooperation throughout this difficult period.”

Please direct any questions regarding the postponements to Tom Dobson, Goalball UK’s clubs and competitions officer: tom.dobson@goalballuk.com.

The latest information from the Government regarding coronavirus can be found here. We advise all goalball clubs to follow the Government’s guidance when deciding if they are to continue hosting their training sessions throughout this period.
