Carol began her career fundraising in 1996 working for Church House Fundraising. During this time she worked on various different projects for the pan-disability charity RADAR and the brain injury charity REHAB UK as a telephone fundraiser.

In 2010 she began work with Metro in the capacity of Fundraising Officer, raising funds through various methods including advertising, corporate donations, trusts and foundations. Outside fundraising Carol is a professional singer whose performing opportunities have taken her all over the UK, Europe and Japan.

“Our Sport Development Officer, Charlie Raven joined Metro Blind Sport in December 2018. Graduating from the University of Bath in the field of Sport Science, Charlie has also had relevant experience working within the sport charity sector through his placement year at London Sport and within the corporate sector at Lloyds Banking Group, respectively.

Through his avid interest in football, Charlie is an FA Level 1 qualified coach and manages an Under 10’s football team called Kensington Dragons F.C, where he also plays competitively for the senior team.

Charlie believes strongly in the ability that sport and physical activity has to bring people together and help people from all backgrounds to lead a happier, healthier life.”

Saul has worked on the worldwide interweb since it started in the UK. He began as a web designer and evolved into a motion and video designer and now as part of the Metro Team,  he does all of the above plus adds Web Manager to the mix.

Outside of Work: Saul likes walking, running, cycling,  skateboarding, social online gaming, new style board games and time allowing creates digital sci-fi and fantasy sets for use on Roll20.net.
