Free tour for blind and partially sighted people of the London Wetland Centre in Richmond- 5th May 10 am – 1 pm

We have trained the Wetland staff and volunteers in Blind and partially sighted awareness and sighted guide training, so they are aware of peoples’ needs.

It is a pilot project, so people who come on the tour will have a chance to give their views to improve things for the future.

Sensing the Wild, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Lottery Fund, offers local blind people specialised tours of local wildlife areas that otherwise they would be unable to access fully.

Whatever people’s disability or water confidence, come and join our upbeat, safe and inclusive club that brings people together through swimming.

Exercise or swim by yourself, or get help from one of our friendly volunteers who provide encouragement, support and conversation. The sessions and community at WeSwim Old Street is led by our fabulous committee, who are also our safeguarding officers for the Old Street club

Dates: Tuesdays Time:  8 – 9 pm Venue: Ironmonger Row Baths in Old Street.

Meeting at the tube station can be arranged.  Cost £2 per session
