Swimming for Vision Impaired people is coming to Southwark!

South East London Vision (SELVis), in partnership with Sense and Metro Blind Sport are delighted to offer you 12 weeks of free coached swimming sessions at The Castle leisure centre, open to anyone living with sight loss.

A unique opportunity to learn to swim or gain more confidence and improve your existing swimming technique.

When: Tuesday 28th March 2017, then every Tuesday from 18th April until 4th July 2017. Please note there will be no session on the 30th May
Time: 2pm – 3pm for swimmers who want to gain more water confidence
3pm – 4pm for non-swimmers wanting to learn to swim.

Where:  2 St. Gabriel Walk, London SE1 6FG
Nearest Tube/train: Elephant and Castle (Northern and Bakerloo line)
Bus: 12, 35, 40, 45, 68, 136, 148, 171, 176, 343, 468, P5.

Please contact us if you would like to be met at Elephant and Castle to walk to the centre together.

Places are limited for each session and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Registration is essential and please tell us when registering which session you wish to attend.
We can also provide advice and help on purchasing swimwear.
